What is a Bondi Assistant?

Our Bondi Assistants are top-tier professionals based in the Philippines or Malaysia. They are committed to propelling your business to new heights. Operating on a full-time basis (40 hours/week), they boast college or degree qualifications, excellent English proficiency (both written and verbal) and over 2 years relevant work experience. Our BAs work from their home offices, ensuring seamless support tailored to your needs. 

Am I buying a service? A contractor vs employee

When you partner with Bondi Assistant, you have a service agreement. Our Bondi Assistants work as independent contractors, which means you don’t have to worry about employee taxes or benefits. 

How does invoicing work?

Invoices are sent out electronically on the 13th of each month. Clients are required to pay one month in advance. Payments are made electronically to the bank account specified on the invoice.

If I commit, am I locked into any contracts?

Nope, you are not locked into any long-term contracts. Our agreement comes with a 30-day notice period, so you’ve got plenty of wiggle room. 

What is the lead time to getting my Assistant started?

The lead time to getting your Bondi Assistant started is not long, nor cumbersome. Once you’ve outlined your needs, we usually have your dedicated BA ready for you to interview within 1-2 weeks. We ensure a smooth onboarding process so you can start benefiting from their support as soon as possible. 

Where do Bondi Assistants work from, home or an office?

Our Bondi Assistants work from home. This remote work setup allows our BAs to provide you with flexible and efficient support from their own home offices without spending hours commuting into an office. We rigorously ensure their home office setups are compatible with your needs.

What happens when I go on holiday?

When you go on holiday, your Bondi Assistant is equipped to step in and continue supporting you seamlessly. Each BA is provided 24 days of paid leave within a 12-month period, ensuring they have time to recharge and refresh. However, even during your absence, your BA can remain active on tasks if you plan accordingly. Consider your BAs as essential members of your team and ensuring continuity in your absence.

What confidentiality arrangements are in place to take care of information and material?

Rest assured; confidentiality is a top priority for us. We take pride in our Bondi Assistants being trustworthy and understand the importance of safeguarding your information and material. Both our Service Agreement and our Bondi Assistant Subcontractor Agreement include clauses specifically addressing confidentiality to ensure your peace of mind. 

Will my Assistant only work for me?

Our experience shows that a Bondi Assistant shines brightest when working one-on-one with you full-time within your team. This lets them focus entirely on your tasks, ensuring everything gets done during set hours. It means you get personalised, consistent support tailored specifically for your business needs. 

How is the time difference managed?

Our Bondi Assistants can seamlessly adjust to your time zone, be it Australia, the Philippines, Malaysia, or anywhere else in the world. You get to stipulate the hours that you require your BA to be online working for you. We encourage efficient alignment for smooth collaboration and productivity. 

How do you help prepare for the first day?

Getting ready for the first day is super simple. We’ll guide you through an induction checklist, outline key tasks, assist in introducing your Bondi Assistant to the team and ensure clear expectations are set. Starting off strong sets the stage for success.
